An Overview of the Application Process

After filling out an application and submitting the information to BTH (Pty) Ltd, you will need to do the following:

1. COMPLETE YOUR APPLICATION
   Proceed below to complete our online application or download account documents to your computer, which you can complete and return via mail or fax.
2. PREPARE YOUR INITIAL DEPOSIT
   Choose the deposit method you prefer to fund your BTH (Pty) Ltd trading account. Please follow the deposit guidelines as stated in our Deposit Instructions.
3. CHOOSE YOUR TRADING PLATFORM
   Download our desktop software, Agribase HQ ®-Web User, or trade with Agribase HQ ®-View or Agribase HQ ®-Active.

*If BTH (Pty) Ltd receives documents that are not in order, we will send an email requesting the appropriate corrections. If BTH (Pty) Ltd receives documents without funds or before funds have been received, we will send an email notification that documents have been received, and that funds need to be sent. Please check your email to ensure timely completion of setting up your account.

To help the government fight the money laundering activities, National legislation requires all financial institutions to obtain, verify and record information that identifies each person who opens an account.

What does this mean for you: When you open an account, we will ask for your name, address, date of birth and other information that will allow us to identify you. We may also ask to verify your driver’s license or other identifying documents such as a national identity document or password.

If you are applying for an online trading account (with Agribase HQ ®-View or Agribase HQ ®-Active ), it is important to be aware of possible issues which may occur to prepared you in advance of system requirements, application access or any other technical issues.

Factors which may affect system performance:

BTH (Pty) Ltd provides trading technology for Client's use in connection with Agricultural Derivatives for Futures & Options transactions made by Clients with BTH (Pty) Ltd. Such trading technology includes, but is not limited to, web applications, application program interfaces, software, software code, programs, protocols and displays (collectively "Technology") for trading, analyzing trades and markets, and constructing automated trading systems. As with use of any technology, there may be times you experience a delay or breakdown of system operations, problems with performance of the trading system, malfunctions of Technology, or delays or interruptions in transmission of orders. The factors which could reasonably be expected to materially affect the performance of the Technology are excessive call volume, failure of transmission or communication equipment on the Internet or otherwise, communications problems, computer software or hardware breakdowns, malfunctioning errors, and other problems or glitches associated with computer problems as well as other technical causes.
